On Friday, October 22nd we finally released ‚Phantom Pain‘ – The first preview track for our upcoming record and probably the most epic track we’ve done so far.
This song was written in early 2020 after our tour together with The Dead-End Alley Band. When the COVID pandemic hit Europe we saw more and more artists starting to collaborate online and doing live stream concerts. So the idea was born to create some kind of „intercontinental jam“ together with our brother Sebastián on keys. The track quickly gained some momentum and turned into this really epic, heavy rollercoaster ride – So we decided to not waste on a quick and dirty livestream kinda thing. Instead „Phantom Pain“ became the foundation of our development as a band in the following months and inspired a new direction in sound. Now it will rightfully serve as the first preview of the album that we’re trying to get made.

The song was recorded and mixed by the very capable gentlemen Wastl and Manuel over at Beardy Mountain Studio in Lower Austria and mastered by Mike at AlphaMastering Audio-Studio – The same guys who will be in charge of the rest of the record and of course it involves a feature by Sebastián doing some crazy sounds on his Farfesa keyboard.
